In 15 minutes, the lady on the elliptical machine picked over six wedgies. All her own. That has to be a record right? I’m going to sound like Merv the Perv here, but I couldn’t help but to notice the constant tooshy-picking that was happening in front of me. It got me thinking about what kind of underwear provides the most comfort and protection while working out (obviously NOT what “Wedgie Lady” had on).
Briefs. No doubt they are very comfortable, but what to do with the panty lines?
Thongs. Talk about a literal pain in the butt(crack). I personally don’t like the “extra contact” while riding a bike or worst, doing squats (oh lord!), but if you are okay with it…more power to you!
Commando. You have to make sure there are no accidental exposing going on. Also, you need to be careful with um, unsightly wet spots.
When it comes to my shivvies, I personally prefer boy shorts because they provide better butt coverage. Because it goes a little longer, it eliminates ride-ups and panty lines! Here are a couple of my faves:
